Steve Fisk

I had just checked out the CD "One Beat" by Sleater-Kinney (good CD by the way). I was reading the inner liner and noticed under the "Special thanks to... " section, the name of Steve Fisk! He is also listed as playing keyboards on two of the tracks. I remember that Steve was into music and synthisizers back in "the old days," he even gave me a demo tape he had made titled "Give Up This Day" which I probably still have packed away somewhere. Good going Steve! Nice to see somebody from the rocket biz got into some honest line of work!

Amazon.co lists three (count 'em 3!) CD's for Steve Fisk: "448 Deathless Days", "999 Levels of Undo" and "Over and Thru the Night." Wow. I wish I had money. I'd buy them!

Way cool! I wonder if it really is the same Steve! And, thanks btw, for keeping this blog at least sort of alive :-) I don't think we managed thrust over weight with it ... but it was fun to try.

Hi, Tucker. Ya, I suspect that most Starstruckers are either dead, unconscious or trying desperately to keep the experience off their resumes so they can keep their careers intact. I am alive, semi-conscious and have no career. So, no worries.

... by the way, yes, I am about 95% certain that it is the same Steve Fisk. I have searched the 'net for his picture and it IS him or someone who looks a lot like him.
